When you create an account, we collect information through our authentication provider (Clerk), including:
- Email address
- Name and profile information
- Account identifiers
Connected Platform Tokens
When you connect GitHub or Slack, we store access tokens securely on our servers. These tokens allow us to read data from and, with your approval, post to your connected platforms. Tokens are encrypted and stored server-side only.
Content from Connected Sources
We store content from your connected platforms to provide the Service, including:
- GitHub issues, comments, and repository information
- Slack messages from subscribed channels
- Records, events, decisions, and drafts created by the Service
Usage Data
We collect basic usage data to improve the Service, including:
- Feature usage and interactions
- Error logs and performance metrics
- Analytics data (we may use analytics tools to understand usage patterns)

We will make reasonable efforts to delete your data, subject to legal and operational requirements.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard security practices to protect your information, including encryption in transit, secure storage of access tokens, and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Choices
You have the following choices regarding your information:
- Disconnect Integrations: You can disconnect GitHub or Slack integrations at any time through the Service
- Request Deletion: You can request deletion of your account and data by contacting contact@withrubicon.com
- Update Account Information: You can update your account information through your account settings
8. International & State Notices
The Service is operated from the United States. If you are located outside the United States, please be aware that information we collect may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of information to the United States.
